There is no immediate danger of another tornado hitting California, a meteorologist said.

The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for several Kansas City-area counties through 11 p.m. Monday.

According to the City of Ottawa, no fatalities or injuries were reported following the storm. As of 10:09 p.m., most of the city is without power and streetlights are not working. Officials ask that residents stay off the roadways and to stay away from downed power lines.

An updated tornado warning was released by the National Weather Service on Monday at 8:26 p.m. in effect until 8:45 p.m. for Johnson and Miami counties.
